Gibson Edwardian Shoes are perfectly period for c. 1890s - 1925. Dyeable, elegant and sturdy, Gibson will look excellent at your Downton Abbey, World War I, Somewhere in Time, and Titanic events, as well as very smart with modern clothes. These versatile shoes are fantastic for cottagecore and Lolita outfits, or historybounding.

I bought these in the cream shade for a wedding I was attending. I knew I would be on my feet and running around so these were perfect. (I also have a gimpy knee so higher heels are not possible.) I never had any discomfort. I wear an 8 and these were just right. Note that there is not a lot of cushion underfoot in the shoe so some may prefer an added insole. I received many compliments on the shoes, too!! If you are on the fence about the cost, fear not - these are lovely!
